- To own, operate and maintain a permanent facility to promote an understanding of filmmaking and the history of motion pictures for the use of the general public and of individuals seeking a career within the industry.
- To collect, preserve, display and exhibit movie memorabilia such as props, wardrobes, production equipment, films and other objects relating to the history of motion pictures.
- To develop facilities designed to support filmmaking and production activities for the purpose of artistic, educational, and/or vocational experience.
- To provide seminars, workshops, and publications to disseminate a developing body of industry knowledge to participants seeking educational growth and/or career advancement.
